UCLA Screening

Is That A Gun In Your Pocket? maintains its unique approach with a surprise Q & A screening for UCLA students.

What makes ITAG revolutionary as a film is its bold blending of comedy with the topic of gun violence to neutralize the tensions created by the emotionally charged conversation. The eager young minds at Director Matt Cooper’s alma mater UCLA were excited by the impromptu Q & A screening held at the James Bridge Theater.

In collaboration with UCLA’s Melnitz Movies, Graduate Student Association, we held the open invitation screening where moderator Matt Grieco fielded questions by the students as they peppered Matt Cooper and ITAG star, Fernanda Romero with questions on his film and the industry. Afterward, the students clustered around Cooper and Romero for personal meet-and-greets and signed autographs.
